Bullis Gala

Raise the Paddle

2026 Gala "Raise the Paddle"

Each year at the Bullis Gala, our community comes together for Raise the Paddle—a special moment that turns shared belief into meaningful action. This year, we are raising funds to update our workout facilities so they better serve the people who use them every day. These spaces are for everyone at Bullis: students and faculty, athletes and non-athletes alike.

At its heart, this project is about access and care. A thoughtfully designed fitness environment supports wellness, confidence, and the development of lifelong healthy habits. By investing in these upgrades, we are ensuring that every member of our community has a safe, welcoming place to train, build strength, and support their well-being.

Here’s how it works: At the end of the live auction, we will invite everyone in the room to raise their bid paddles and make a gift to this initiative. Every dollar raised through Raise the Paddle will go directly toward improvements that enhance safety, cleanliness, and daily functionality—resulting in a refreshed, inclusive space that reflects Bullis’ commitment to the health and well-being of our community.

Make a Pledge Today!

Please know that your pledge now is only a pre-commitment; we ask that you still raise your paddle on the night of the gala for the pre-committed amount.

What is Raise the Paddle?

Our annual Raise the Paddle feature during the live auction segment of the Gala provides an opportunity for the community to support an important need at Bullis.

It’s a fun way to bid to directly support Bullis’s programs. You don’t have to outbid anyone, just raise your paddle and join in! Everyone has a chance to participate as we work together to support something great for Bullis.
